However a short time into this he called aside and said the owner was trimming the staff and I needed to go full time as a salesperson. It soon turned into a full time position in that capacity. And that’s how they determine my increase. My last evaluation included everything the company pays for, specifically what they pay to keep me as an employee. They will not promote you if you speak up/stand up for yourself. If you give yourself to the company you work for don’t waste your time with this company. If management doesn’t feel like they should follow doctors orders they will call your doctor and have orders changed without discussing it with you first.
If you challenge management or bring your concerns to management even with good intentions and an outlined plan with compromise you’ll be on their radar and pressured to find another job. But sales and construction go to Winstar or Topgolf in addition to the Christmas dinner.
But you’ll get some homemade cookies and a nice souvenir with the company logo on it while the entire company enjoys dinner and drinks for Christmas. And no bonuses to help compensate our hard work. Corporate employees are not treated as well as construction or sales, even though we did almost all of sales paperwork. But as it grew so did management’s greediness.
